Star Trek: The Exhibition is BACK!

Late last year an exciting exhibition of Star Trek was announced to begin a 40 city tour of the US, to begin at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California, and visit 39 other cities over the course of a couple years.

Unfortunately there were problems with the first stop and the tour seemed to end before visiting any of the 39 other cities. But the powers that be were not deterred by the setbacks! They have regrouped and now Star Trek: The Exhibition is open once again. The tour is open at the San Diego Air & Space Museum in Balboa Park, San Diego, California.

The exhibit features recreations of the Original Enterprise Bridge, recreations of sets from the Next Generation including Captain Picard's Quarters, a photo-op in the Transporter Room, two full-motion flight simulators, and the CBS Paramount collection of original artifacts and uniforms from all 5 series and 10 movies.

The people of Gideon have always believed that life is sacred. That the love of life is the greatest gift ... We are incapable of destroying or interfering with the creation of that which we love so deeply -- life in every form from fetus to developed being. -- Hodin of Gideon, "The Mark of Gideon", stardate 5423.4
